About the Institute

The TOC-Lean Institute is the knowledge centre of I & J Munn and was set up both to provide a library of training and educational material and be a forum for discussion and generating new knowledge about the Theory of Constraints (TOC) as developed by Dr Goldratt and Lean techniques. The Institute library contains TOC research papers, conference papers and discussion documents, all available for download.

The Institute is an approved TOCICO examination centre where people can prepare for and sit the relevant TOC examinations in order to become a TOC Application Expert or TOC Implementation Expert. TOCICO - the Theory of Constraints International Certification Organization - is a globally recognised certification organization for TOC practitioners, consultants and academics.

We have been invited by the National Skills Academy for Manufacturing to develop the outlines for NVQ in Business Improvement Techniques related to the TOC applications and this has now been completed.
